No. They are a non profit organization. They solicit donations to purchase food as well accept accept donations of food. Volunteers generally sort and pack the the donated items. They are the central warehouse and distribution point for for almost every food bank and Pantry in Oregon. There are numerous volunteer opportunities at the Oregon food bank. Call them if you wish to volunteer. When you donate food to the letter carriers food drive every May the Oregon food bank is where it goes. It is sorted, repacked, and distributed throughout the state. It's a rewarding opportunity to volunteer and donate money to help those in need.

They are not specifically affliated with any churches. They are a large food distribution center that gathers food for other food services that distribute food locally the those who need it, including food pantries, local food banks, churches, soup kitchens, etc. They service the state of Oregon & Clark County, WA Website Description: " Oregon Food Bank helps nearly one in five households experiencing food insecurity by distributing food and offering programs through its four locations and a statewide network of 17 other regional food banks."
