When looking towards the ocean, on the left down the beach there is a path that leads up over driftwood/boulders. If you go up around there are tide pools and a rock arch.
Also depends on high tide/low tide. At high tide your options may be limited.
There are some between the day use beach and South beach. Also, just a few minutes north on Hwy 101 there are a couple of other beaches with tide pools as well.
