For your protection and your pup's fate, it's a law, your fur baby is safer on a leash. Although dogs are allowed at this Park, mainly due to the neighborhood, the better part for you and canine would be Northeast Creek or Onslow Pines Park. They're larger with now room for play. Good luck and enjoy the park.
Dogs are absolutely allowed to come there. However there are leash laws in ALL of Onslow County....especially at parks where people and children come to play and gather. I would suggest if you are just wanting somewhere to take a dog, off leash, then you can look to take your dog to an actual dog park. I don't know why on Earth it would show up as an off leash dog park in a search.
Dogs are allowed at the park but are not allowed off leash as per the county's leash law.
Jacksonville has leash laws for dogs.
People do bring there dogs but usually on a leash because of the children
dogs are allowed, leashing is encouraged as there are usually children and it is a relatively small park.
