The campground is right on the northern shoreline of Grand Traverse Bay. Several sights for smaller RV's and tents, over look the shoreline. There is a stairway as well as a path that lead down to the beach. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Dog friendly beaches do exist within 3 miles of the campground on the bay, and the public boat ramp on the northern end of Torch Lake, within a mile of the campground, does not yet have dog restrictions.
