We stayed here for 4 days in July and had an excellent experience. Check-in was easy. The campground was clean. Bathroom & shower facilities were as clean as expected for a state park. The walkover for the beach right across the street is convenient. The campground is conveniently located. 10/10- would stay again.

Employers were kind and helpful. Clean facilities. Some campsites are cemented, most aren't. A quick trip across a bridge and you are at a beach, playground, or restaurant. Only a swingset as a playground on the actual campground. Sells ice and firewood up front. Firewood 3 packs for $15 and 7lb bag ice is $2.

We had a terrible experience a few years ago here. And decided to try one more time. It's only got worse. Noise from the jets over head, the inconsiderate campers partying all night and the lack of supervision and ranger doing their job. Kids and adults riding bikes and scooters with no regards for people walking. Parents who let their kids run wild all day and night thru the campground. @20 Grand valley fraternity brothers partying all day and all night. Drinking smoking and partying. How do they get to be in a family orientated state Park. No consideration for othe campers. Very disgusted. They are all over us if we did anything but it's ok for some.

What a wonderful park! Yes, it's close to the main road, and you will get road noise, so we always try to stay towards the back of the park, but you should know that going in, and prepare accordingly. The staff here was amazing! The …

$33.00 a night. For any site except cabins. All sites are for RV or tents. All have many electric outlets, picnic tables and fire rings. Dogs ARE allowed for no extra charge. I just stayed there 2 weeks ago, so prices are current.
Yes...3p is the earliest you can check in.
All I can tell you is that they have concrete slabs built this last 2 yrs and might be able to serve your RV. Call them though .
I believe 34, not 100% sure.
The state park is pretty full.. I reserved almost 2 months in advance. But there are alot of campgrounds that we passed a couple miles prior to us arriving
Don't need recreation passport for RV. Car cost $9 a day or I think $17 for annual pass if you're a resident of MI.
The state park map will give you an idea of how the campsites are situated. The beach is across the street and has a walking bridge over traffic. If you want lake camping, this isn't your location.
Yes but you have a much better view from the west bay.
From what I could see the majority of the sites are handicap-accessible and the washrooms. I didn't really pay attention to the electrical because we don't use the help us. Although you do need to keep an eye out for poison ivy and poison oak
Yes, and when you register, it will ask you what size to make sure that they will not show sites that will not work.
$15 there were two fresh water pumps and decent washrooms, block firepits
$33 per night. So $66 total
Note you can only camp legally for 14 days in state parks
