You can fish down at the lake all you want. I waded down the shore about a hundred yards and caught a couple smallies on a little Cleo 2/5 spoon I dont believe anything was posted on the way down there about not fishing, but if you're below the high water line, you're state property, not the campgrounds.
Yes if it's to big there is a spot to unhook by the play ground
