Some public parking close, we parked and walked about 5-10mins

I agree with Chris. Savannah is a great walkable town.

Parking is limited and hard to find. Park on the outside of the historic district and walk in or there is free public transportation but you could be waiting at the bus stop for a long time. We bought an all-day pass on Old Savannah Tours, rode the entire route around once while they told about all the historical sites, then hopped off at one of their nearest 16 stops to walk to the places we wanted to visit. I would consider this to be the best option. It was $32 well spent.

Park at your downtown hotel and walk.

Parked at the hotel and walked for 3 days, no need to drive.

We actually part at our hotel and we walked around the entire time

It's better to park on the outskirts of town and walk in.
