What a beautiful church. Free to go about and they do offer tours. So much detail in so many things. There is a lot to appreciate. Especially if you appreciate architecture. Also as a Christian there are so many beautiful scenes in the sculptures, stain glass, and murals.

Very cool cathedral! The artwork there is very beautiful and the structure is amazing. Fun fact, the pillars look like marble, but the whole frame of the building is actually cast iron. Beautifully furnished with pictorial of biblical figures. You can go inside to check it out during the day, no pay required but they ask for donations. You can sit in the pews and look around.

Historical cathedral with a beautiful stained glass windows and expansive alter. It’s a suggested $3 donation to go in. They offered a free tour where the presenter explained the cathedral’s history and pointed out some interesting features. It took about 20 minutes overall and was very informative. It is an active church so do be mindful about people praying. I would recommend coming here for a first-timer to Savannah and spending half an hour!

They used to stay open, unattended, for quite some time. But after someone attempted to light a fire on the Sacred Altar, they now Lock up when the Docents leave. Sorry
She is always on the left at every Roman Catholic church and Joseph on the right si Ruben Ayco Jr did not give an accurate answer.
We were told street parking is free on Sundays on Savannah

Normally the church is open for daily mass during the week...I would approach Father after mass to see if this is possible. I would not approach Father during the weekend with this being Holy Week and and Easter! Good luck!
I was told they do.
Yes, but unfortunately the traditional and most beautiful Midnight Mass has been done away with this year. Instead of the awe-inspiring Mass at midnight, to which throngs of people regularly come, many from other cities, there will be "Mass in the Night" at 10:00 p.m. I can't remember a time when the Cathedral didn't have the magnificent and soul stirring Christmas Midnight Mass. I certainly hope to see this splendid Mass return for good in 2020.

There's parking all around. Getting a space will be a problem because it gets crowded during various times during the day. But you can find spots where you can have all-day parking. Free yes. There are some streets blocks over that are metered.
There is no in Spanish, only in English at 8am, 10am and 11:30 am. In Latin at 1pm.
We go to the Saturday evening service, it is less crowded and quite beautiful! !!
April 30, 1876, was original build. Burned in 1898 and rebuilt in 1900.
There are weekday masses at 730am and noon I believe in the lower level chapel, not in the main sanctuary.
The neighborhood all around there were very nice clean
Yes
Check with the cathedral office but I don't believe it is. It actually has a full schedule of daily masses along with other liturgies and events.
The Masses at the Cathedral are at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. The 11:30 Mass Is a Latin Mass. Enjoy the festivities and Merry Christmas!
