Soooo GLAD that we came while visiting Savannah from the city!!!! This concept is super cute for my little ones. The price is right!!! The use of the old railway is super creative. In the lower area, each inlet offers something fun. The maze is also fun for the kiddos. To keep cool, they have shaded areas and a misting station. Yes, the bulk of the museum is outside and I think that is pretty cool and different. There is an air conditioned train car with fun games, exploratory play, hands-on STEM like activities that align with the GA School Standards. The staff was WONDERFUL AND KIND… thanks so much to Elizabeth, Katrinka, Jess and Jamal. You all had wonderful activities planned for the kids, and were very attentive to the kids while they played. We felt right at home!!! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING… WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!!!

Really unique children's museum set inside the old train workshop from the 1800s. I appreciate how they utilize the outdoor remnants and the variety of stations they have set up for kids to explore. Staff seem pretty hands-on too. But, being Savannah, I wish there was more seating and shade to accommodate us parents.

We went with no expectations and didn't think we would stay long but ended up spending 3 hours here! There are a lot of fun activities for the kids included in the ticket price and two levels of fun. The staff was so kind and had science experiments and crafts set up. Gorgeous setting on a historic site. Loved our visit ❤️

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. It is the most unique children's museum I have been to and very well priced ($8 per person over 18 month). The employees were so helpful and interactive with the kids. They had crafts, a …

We ran into the same issue with my son. It definitely put a damper on our vacation! Especially when you get all the way there to have the security guard tell you it is closed. Also for us there was nothing on the website stating it was closed. It said open.
I was there a week ago and no
Yes, you pay when you enter the train museum area and they give the adults a wristband for the day
It's one price, $7.50 for age 18 and up.
Yes ma'am. They were having one while we were there. It's all outside.
Savannah Children's Museum is open 9:30-2:30, Wednesday-Saturday. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
No. The railroad museum is open. I suggest call and they will let you know
No.
Yes, parking for both museums is free!
The children's area is nestled with in the railroad museum. So if you have children you're gonna wanna get the 3 museums for 3 days. If you don't your children are going to be very sad when you leave because he didn't look or crew in the playground after railroad car Museum. For family of 3 it's right that a $100
$7.50. Cheap! Or, I think train museum plus kid's museum is $17 per person.
The children's museum itself is, however it is colocated with a wonderful train museum that does use steam whistles a couple times an hour.
