Obviously depends on the weather. The weekends are very busy. However parking is a limiting factor, so the beach is never packed, the parking lot is. Or try Muskegon State Park beach, depending on how the wind is blowing it is much nicer, and if you have the state park pass on your car it is free

As others said, it can get crowded. Before noon and after three it thins out. Hot weekends 🔥 I would suggest you arrive by 10:00 to insure a good parking spot.

We were there on a Saturday and got there before 11. It was busy but everyone kept a descent distance
