They actually do have a way to look it up for the most if it was paid for by card I'm not sure if it has to be the same store or not but also if you have the Walmart app and you scan your receipt then you don't have to worry about losing it cause you have it always on that app

Yeah you're suppose to be able too return at any Wal-Mart with the receipt or not. I personally wouldn't go to the mt. Pleasant location because I bought a phone in Gaylord and went to return it at that location and the serial numbers didn't match the box for whatever reason and they tried to accuse me of stealing it but I had to drive over 100 miles to return the phone because of that
With packaging & receipt, wish they had a way to look up your receipt like Menards..

You should be able to take it to any walmarts
If you have the orginal reciept you can normally exchange at any walmart.
