Wal-Mart is refusing to let me take an item back that is over $50 but they do it for everyone else is it because I'm not white?

If you paid cash and have no receipt they cannot track it. No walmart will issue a return under those circumstances.

If you paid by card, you can get them to pull up your transaction and then return it.
