Why doesn't the personal at the CVS on state st. In New Albany not answer the phone I'm on a minute phone and have been hung up on three times and this has went on since 2:06pm 3 hrs and all I get is a pick up hang up the place needs new staffing

This has nothing to do with HIPAA. We take calls all the time while there are patients there. This CVS Pharmacy is literally the worst, especially when we have to call or send patients ts there at night. Rudest Pharmacist I've ever encountered.

Due to HEPPA laws if the pharmacist is speaking with a customer and the phone rings they have to put it on hold automatically. That being said...the higher ups in Rhode Isand have cut back so much on payroll hours that most pharmacies nationwide are working on what most people consider a skeleton crew. Its not a store level issue or a district or state. This is a corporate issue. They have their pharmacists filling scripts for other stores so they have no time to give good customer service anymore.
