Definitely going. One of my hobbies is ghost hunting towns like this. My last one was Chloride , Arizona. This place looks promising. Good restaurant there? Rooms for rent for about a week?

Very cool. Not into glamping. I'm a trained guide and survivalist. Remote to me is a good time= No living to upset the spirits. I'll be in touch with Caretaker/Sheriff/mayor. Saw your presentation on the news. Very cool. Educational also as to the REAL west. Not Hollywood created. I asked about a restaurant because I LOVE local and native foods by the local citizens. Homemade food is the best. Also. I would never remove any historical relics from anywhere. Crime against the natives and the dead. Bad mojo. Turn them into the owners asap. Don't let my profile picture fool you.

Robert is the caretaker. There is a bunkhouse but it has no running water. Cerro Gordo is very remote and rugged. This is not a place for "glamping". It is, however a great place for old west history and relics.
