I see there are a number of recent reviews which indicate the carpeting is in need of replacement. Is there plans to replace the carpeting at this location?

The hallway carpets are stained with terribly, but it's currently under major remodel, and in the process of being replaced.

I didn't notice any carpet issues.. I'd call the hotel if you're concerned.
