The Beacon has been the same fantastic and classic restraunt it is from day one. The locals love the atmosphere and thus has been a staple in our town for many years. It's a slice of nostalgia.
I think most of us like the vintage look. It is worn not dirty.
This is as authentic as a great hamburger joint will ever be. Atmosphere is authentic and wonderful.
bondage look is a stretch plain dirtythe food has gotten gross used to be good when Mr white had control help is very bad I have been going there 60 yes no more even if it was free
The Beacon is a part of this town history. It is not dirty. And many places that are historic do not remodle.
The Beacon just has kept it `s vintage looks its not dirty. It has seen every Presidential candidates and President up to Obama.
It had very good food when I was there last week workers very friendly and as far as the look I loved it wasn't dirty at all just not the look of today which it isn't suppose to be that is the nostalgia of it I think they should leave it just like it is
I wouldn't agree with "dirty." They were proactively keeping the eating area clean, for instance.
They are actually remodeling slowly. It's a very busy place, so I could understand that they can't constantly remodel the place. But there have been alot of changes (looks AWESOME) to the building and the new owner is doing an amazing job repairing the building while still keeping the old style it's always had.
Honestly its more a place of history like the varsity in Atlanta, the food isnt very good at all
