What is the pat down procedure like?

Only if you look shady did they pat you down

I went for an insomniac event. Night 1 we got in pretty late and the pat down was barely a pat down. Night 2 however was new years eve with substantially more people and we got there earlier. I was pat down thoroughly. Imagine TSA. Depending on the size of the event it could also take a while to get through the security line. Id recommend getting there 20-30 min earlier than you want to be in the venue.
