You mean Rustic? This campsite was a private and later became KOA. They are not up to KOA standards yet. That being said, it's basic facilities are sufficient but not rustic.. it has full bathroom facility and RV hookups
There are campgrounds in the area that accommodate all types of modes of camping. There are also State parks. It just depends on where you want to camp relative to the Pictured Rocks tours.
Not sure what a primitive site is. I was in a RV. But most of the campground is heavily wooded.
