There is no potable water here, despite the Hennepin Canal website showing that there is. There is also no shade here. It's basically a green field with some fire pits next to a parking lot. I wouldn't camp here, but it's an OK place to stop and use the pit toilets.

Nice quiet area, but water doesn’t work.

I can’t believe that they have the nerve to charge to camp when there isn’t any water there. Not that I am unable to filter from the canal, but to charge for camping and there isn’t any shade trees to camp under and the picnic tables are all broken and there isn’t any potable water there. All that’s there is a pit toilet.

Didn't go camping, it wasn't a very large area. Went there to go bicycling along the canal. It was a very nice area, and hardly anyone around. The toilets were very clean and smelled decent.

Yes it used to be 8 dollars a tent per night but I believe it went up a couple dollars
