I don't know about a limit, but pre purchasing your tickets is strongly recommended as they often sell out.
Best to buy your tickets online so you don't arrive and discover they've sold out. Also there is a line to get in, but honestly it's not bad as they've got some impressive displays and great characters working the line. Indeed the line is really a prequel to what's inside.
I'd buy online for the earliest show. They ticket to make the parking work better. Totally worth it, but you will stand in line. Even last Thursday we likely spent around an hour waiting in line.
Buy tickets online. You cannpt buy then there. But good luck. We bought 830 tickets and with the line we didnt get in til 1030 and it was lame
I believe there is a max number of tickets sold per night. We bought on-line. We went for 7:30. Great time
