Is it currently open to the public because I'm here at the time it says their open, the gate is chained shut, no horses are out and it dosent appear like anyone's there

Try going up to the barn. If that's closed they probably aren't open yet

They may have a show sometimes they have other workers who come in and help. They sometimes run late. Try calling them and seeing if you can get a hold of anyone.

I was just there a month ago for rides. Don't know why they wouldn't be open.
