I think it's illegal for minors to sit at any bar even with their parents. I worked at a Mexican restaurant and we didn't allow children to sit at our bar.
I agree, every restaurant establishment has its own set of rules. But, I also do agree with the other female (Lynn). That children shouldn't be allowed to sit at the bar area, which was designed for adults only. Ijs
