Just wondering if this is strictly bucket prices or can you just dig at the sight. We are visiting from Michigan and currently are in Maine?

you buy a bucket that you can dig and fill yourself. Or you can buy a prefilled bucket .We did both. Tons of fun.

They have trips to the mines at different times but specifically to Mt Mica on Sundays. You'd have to call to find out the cost.

You have to buy a bucket if you want to dig. It is definitely worth it!!!

Yes, as Fred has stated you can either purchase a pre filled specialty bucket, or a dig your own bucket that you are able to fill from our piles. So you can dig through mine material, we just don't allow cherry picking of said material. You must fill your bucket, then come back to a sifting table to wash and go through your material. We also offer trips to Mt. Mica, the same location we get our dirt from. These trips are every Sunday and are $65 per adult and $35 for children ages 8-16. There you can sit and dig and pick all you want!
