Not a good place if you have bad knees. Steep stairs and a lot of them.
There are a lot of stairs, you're descending most of the time and then you have to climb back out. It gets a little cramped in some areas but there is railing to hang on to and if you're willing to try it the guide probably won't mind if you need to take your time. If you Google for images of the cave you can get a vague idea of what small sections of the stairs look like inside.
I have a bad knee - i took it slow and really enjoyed myself.
I wouldn't attempt it if you have had knees. It's a steep climb.
It may be worth the try. We brought our baby and they offered to refund our tickets if she were crying. It sounded as though they had a predetermined spot on the path that would count as the refund / no-refund demarcation. They're kind people, just let them know ahead of time.
Bad knees will likely be an issue. Got to climb the steps to enjoy the cavern.
There are certain areas where the stairs get tight.
It's an easy / slow walk but it depends how bad your knees. But i have the impression that if you asked you might be better to avoid it. Yes you have to go all the way down to fully enjoy it. You get a good idea half way though.
It's not that bad,only a few steps.
