I am a 25 year frequent visitor of the Metropolis Diner. I am sorry for your experience, but i have never had anything but a positive experience, and that goes for everyone I know.
My family and I have been to there many times over the past 15 years and never had a problem. Always delicious food and friendly staff. Best French onion soup anywhere.
Everytime we go to eat we have great food and great service . Never ever ever did me or anyone i know ever get sick or think of this diner as dirty. We go once or twice a week so if they were making people get sick im sure we would have fallen sick at one point but never once
Yea like I said in my review. Worst place for anything including a cup of water. I rather go to a fast food joint then spend my money here. Sorry you had to deal with this horrible hole in the wall they call a diner. Hope you have better luck next time. My opinion... Not a lot of good diners left. Try the lake Ronkonkoma diner off portion road by a mini golf and go cart place. A lot better then this one by far.
My friends son is handycapped disabled and they short changed him out of $20.00 and refused to give it back to him, HOW LOW THEY STOOP, TO MAKE MONEY $$ ROBBING HANDICAPPED Kids WHAT A DAMM SHAME SMFH
This happens to be the best diner ever. Clean plenty of food The ownerand workers are wonderful. Cant beat their steak. Delicious. Cant say enough about this place.
I eat there all the time as well. And while they are outdated....I have never gotten sick
They suck sorry they were good way back when but now they suck!!!!!
One of the best diners ive frequented. Prices are high but you get more food than you know what to do with. Always leave with leftovers. This is a good thing.
