You have to pay to park at Eastern Point. It is a town beach, not a state beach.

Yes it's true. Starting this year if you register your car in ct you pay a park fee of $10 wich gives you free access to all state parks.

Eastern Point Beach is owned by the City of Groton, Connecticut. It is NOT a CT State Park so you have to pay admission unless you live in the City of Groton! State passes are NOT ACCEPTED!

Not True. You have to live in the same town, and show proof of address. Even then in some cases, You still have to pay for parking but You can get a pass fairly cheap if youre a resident
