It's open 24/7. However, between 8am-8pm there's a fee and/or passes required to enter. Before and after those hours you may walk or drive in. There was a time, some years ago, that a gate kept cars out after certain hours., only allowing foot traffic through, but no more. For those of us who love and enjoy this beautiful spot, we ask all to be respectful of this wonderful place.😎 Thank you.

They stop charging at 8pm. Folks are down thrte at almost any given time. The local police do patrol so its pretty safe.

The beach closes at sundown but it's not like they lock a gate and they stop charging to enter at 6 or 7pm
