Is the park open to have family get togethers without making a reservation?

For family get-togethers you don't need a reservation, but anything over a get together I would check with them about. Like if you are planning a huge family reunion, a wedding, a large wedding reception, or something similar I would get in contact with them. I know a part of the Parklands near Broad Run has a large barn they rent out for just such occasions.

They have 2 shelter areas with picnic tables. I dont know for sure if you have to reserve
