As all these people have said, No the Fresno Zoo does not have a Gorilla enclosure. It does have an orangutan enclosure with a currently nursing offspring. While it's cool to see, the animals all look depressed. Sorry to say. All with the exception of the sloth bear who seems content. And the Giraffes finally got a little more room. The zoo also got Rino's. Even my Nine year old noticed how sad some of the animals look.
When I went to this zoo as a child there was a really cool gorilla, but he is not there anymore. I was sad to see he wasn't there. But the rest of 5he zoo is Gorgeous now . You will not regret going.
No gorillas
They do not have gorillas. But they do have many amazing animals. It's not one of those lame zoos that only have local animals. They have lions, tigers, giraffes, rhinos, tons of birds, reptiles... a really cool bird show Spring through Fall, and two bird exhibits which you can walk through. Also a kangaroo and wallaby walk-through. So much more!
No, but they do have orangutans and another type of monkey.
You have to go and check exhibits shows...
