Recently bought tickets online, family emergency has come up and we're not going to be able to make it for the day the tickets are reserved for. Can we get a refund or transfer for a later date?

I'm sorry to hear that. I've never encountered this before, but the zoo's website doesn't announced no refunds our exchanges, so I'm sure you'd be able to work something out with them.
