Not sure, but as a park visitor, I would prefer to not encounter drones at Hidden Falls.
I'd much rather not experience a drone. Given the beauty of the area and the reason WHY people venture off "the beaten path" of society to experience such beauty and (limited) seclusion, I don't see flying a drone in the area as respectful to to the environment or visitors. I'm seeing "leave no trace" as more and more including "leave it as it was, limit interference of modern mankind."
I guess contact the county park ranger, but I wouldn't think so, and kinda rude. Most people go out to escape technology not deal with drones.
No way huge fire danger and emergency vehicles all the time. Big fines.

You should contact the Placer County Parks on this, but I doubt it is illegal as long as you're not doing anything illegal with the drone
I doubt it. It is quite hilly, keeping drone in sight could be difficult. Lots of treed too.
