I stayed there on the 3rd of march and they were suppose to return my deposit to my account but have not seen it yet plus for a senior citizen i think i was charged to much.

I had to call the police to get my money back. The police watched the tapes and made the manager refund us.

If it was really through as credit it will take longer. Debit transactions always return faster. The card company for credit has 14 days to give the money back and the motel does as well so you could be looking at 28 days. In the future run your card as debit using the pin or do it on cash when you are staying at a lower level motel meaning no bill to room features.

Sometimes it may take up to 10 days to reimburse your deposit. I know what an inconvenience that is. Thats why I like to pay my deposits in cash if I have the ability to .. $100 is a substantial amount of money .i don't understand how the money can be pulled from an account in a matter of seconds yet to put it back it can take weeks.. I empathise with your situation and hope that you don't have very long to wait. I don't know what the senior rate would be so im no assistance for the topic but I do know that when booking you must be mindful of the weekends and holidays if you are on a budget. I don't know if booking companies are really offering any savings either despite their many different offers promising up to %50 off and earning free complimentary rooms with there membership.. However if a stay somewhere through a booking club doesn't work out then a refund can take almost a month to come back if it happens near or on a holiday..
