The best thing to do is bring you some bug spray its summer and your going to be outside so be prepared.... Just enjoy yourself..

Its about the same as any other mountain type area. Just spray some bug spray on you and wear breathable clothes yih should be fine.

It's not too bad if there is a breeze. But you are around a bunch of water (i.e. lake, creeks, river) so there is no total escape from them

Judy avoid dusk and dawn for mosquitoes. Otherwise, fine.

Not too bad actually. The temperatures are always cooler on the mountain so not as many bugs as around a typical lake in July. But take some Off if you plan on any hiking.
