When feeding the animal does there food need to be bought separate and how much would each cost

It is a seperate cost from the zoo fee. Carrots cup are 5 bucks and lettuce is 1 dollar a leaf or 6 for 5 dollars. The experience is so worth it. There is only specific animals you can feed it to and they will have a list there. Feeding the girrafes is a very fun experience.
