I think they encourage it and have free wifi. However our B&N used to have power plugs but they removed them.

Yes, there is a small Starbucks inside the store that has several tables, about 16 or so, for people to sit and read at. These tables are meant for the Barns and Noble customs, they are not just meant for Starbucks customs.
Not sure if your suppose to buuuuut... I have seen people do that there.
