No they do not, its the responsibility of the owner to keep record of serial numbers.

I'd say call the store and ask the department manager in the toy department they should be able to give you a more precise answer

I worked at Walmart but it was a about 10 years ago. To my knowledge they didnt keep track of serial numbers at all. I asked my son who worked there a little while inbetween college semesters a few years back and he also said to his knowledge they did not.
