Rumor is, the owners are not going to put any more money into the place & will it falter on it's own accord. Once that's done either a Senior high rise, or Snr. Community of homes will be built. 2nd choice, or 3rd if you prefer, the place will be torn down, removed & a new mall will take its place. Separate stores akin to what they have designed @ Gratiot & Hall Rd. if you get down that way. Separate stores with their own entrances. Like what was common before malls. You know, so you can go shop to shop in the snow, rain, cold, heat, sleet, freezing rain. All the good stuff before you could shop in a dry, warm facility. Alfred Taubman you silly goose.
To me it looks as though it is on the slow roll of death. I was there for the first time in over a year. It was raining outside as well as in. More stores closed than open. It was a ghost town in there.
They are going to close the mall down and that is what i do know about it right now.
Probably not everyone buys online
Where is the store at is it in Port Huron
Don't think so, they r actually closing more stores. Look at comment below.
I haven't been there since February 13, 2018 so I'm not positively sure about it.
There is potential for new aspiring businesses to open up their future failing stores in the mall.
