How come a 24 hour establishment had their doors locked at 10 pm on Sunday May 5th 2019? Lights on and people inside dining but was told thru the window that they were closed.

I was there that day and they didn't have a enough staff on that day they have enough now and they are great .

Was there personally on Saturday. The heat n ac overhead vents were really dirty. They brought in manager from New York to see what could be done. He was asking diners what their suggestions were. He said with being open 24 hours a day they couldn't find a time to clean. I suggested they close on a Sunday night for couple hours especially to clean the vents. I guess Derby weekend was bad timing, but hes from New York. Perhaps he didnt know the significance of Derby weekend. But would any of us want the ac to kick on and blow dirt in our food. He was trying to keep an A rating. Sorry for your inconvenience. They should have had a sign on the door explaining why. They were just waiting on the diners already in there to finish. We really enjoy dining there as we live in area.

Alot of the 24 hr places are starting to close down an reopening at breakfast

Not sure, probably be more of a question that you would have to call them and ask, but more than likely I would say that it was either with their systems being down for computers or not enough staff in that location.
