Give them a call i don't think the gunsmith is in everyday, when you bring your firearm in bring it in unloaded and in a carring case. Im sure they will help you in what ever way they can, always nice and polite when i go in.
Not sure why this didn't notify us earlier so sorry for the delay. It really depends on what the part was and where it came from. We would want to see it to determine if it a functional issue or just cosmetic. As Peter said below bring it in and we'll check it out.
