Yes, and as such, I recommend doing Ruby Falls first, then Rock City if you are going the same day. You don't have a guide at Rock City. You can take your time and rest on benches.

Hi Heather, Looks like folks have shared some great info already. Our cave adventures are all guided. In addition, you'll want to be sure to download the cave info and cave map using the link included with your ticket email. It shares points of interest in the cave. (There is also a QR code you can use to access the info before you enter the elevator that takes guests into the cave). With COVID-19 precautions, the tour has been modified to support social distancing as much as possible on the narrow cavern trail. Guides aren't able to gather groups together as much for presentations, instead it is included in the info and map. One great perk of the modified tour is that guests get extra time at the waterfall and tour groups are smaller! We hope to share the beauty of Ruby Falls with you soon. The Ruby Falls Team
