Carowinds regular prices at the park is $68.99 (tax included) juniors/seniors are $46.70 (tax included). This doesn't include parking which is $20.

Credit Union gave ours for 32 one time. Not sure if they still do.
There are no $20 tickets. I can not find what the front gate pricing will be for 2018. However 2018 season passes can be purchased in 3 levels: Silver $102 + tax & fees. Visit Carowinds as many times as you want all season with the Silver Pass. Does not include free parking or admission to SCarowinds and WinterFest. Gold $108 + tax & fees. It’s actually better to get a gold season pass. It costs about as much as going to carowinds twice but instead you can go all summer. The parking is free (which is usually $20), the water park is free, and just about the whole experience is free except for food.
There really aren't any deals for $20 so it's just a plain lie or they failed to let people know that it'll only be $20 if you go with someone that has a seasons pass. Their guest will only have to pay $20. I think it'll be a good idea to just buy a seasons pass for $80 which would only be $30 above the price to get in and you'd save more money by going for free for the rest of the season.
