If you contact the folks at the Walkway over the Hudson organization I'm sure they can make arrangements to have the elevator available for you when you need it. They are a very proactive and helpful group of people, if they got this bridge up and running, they can help you with ANYTHING you may need, just contact them. Enjoy your visit!
I didn't see the elevator in operation. I think they closed it due to the pandemic.
No, no elevators from what I've seen. There's either stairs or go from the beginning of the trail and it's sorta an uphill but it isn't steep.
