You better order your tickets in advance, me and my wife traveled 422 Miles to ride,we got there 7:30 am was told boarding time was 30 minutes before so we walked around and sit around got us an ice cream next door and noticed the train was full and they were dragging the Gates around the ticket window. when I ask don't you remember us she said yes maybe you can come another time.
No they don't.
Had a great time. Would recommend you do 1st class, and sit on the left side of the train car, you get a better view. Also double check your GPS, ours sent us on adventure.
Not unless for other parts of the year but I heard them say 411 passengers can be on board . Just open or closed in passenger cars. . We rode in the open car . They have ceiling fans and restrooms. You can buy a meal when you purchase your tickets and other extras on the train .they do have a sm variety of beer .
I didn't see any freight cars on the tourist train route.
