Its open for members 24 hrs a day 365 days a year. To get a membership you have to go in during office hours and become a member. You will get a scanner key to access the gym.
I just called and thats what the voicemail told me.
Not sure what your referring to, I just worked out there today (Sunday) along with quite a few others.
