This is a state park which has a lodge with full resturant, cottages for family stays, campground, golf course, beachs, boat ramp, and hiking paths. Definately open to the public.
Yes, the park is free to enter. There are trails to walk and a beach you can hang out on without any fees. The only things that cost money are the lodge/restaurant and rental of an actual site at the campground. If you wanted to view the campground without paying, you can get a free visitor pass at the gatehouse.
So... the park is free. There is a fee for the camp site, and to dock a boat, but you can walk, look, sled, bike, cross country si, and swim free of charge.
Yes it is.
Indeed
There's plenty to enjoy for free, the beach, the trails and the Nature Center. The lodge, cabins, campsites, and golf course are not free. We've enjoyed the cabins annually since they first offered them; a week in the summer and sometimes as a Holiday gathering place.
This park is open to the public, and to rent one of the large picnic/sun shelters costs less than $40/day! There are plenty of free activities year round. Kayak, fish, swim, hiking, skiing, sledding etc. However if you wish to stay in the Lodge, a cabin or campsite.. those would be extra.
No need for my answer, seems you already have it.
Maumee bay is free to public. It is a wonderful and beaut2 place to go. Lots to do. Have to pay for lodging and camping.
Yes, it is free and open to the public. It's a great place to visit. By the way there are no dumb questions. If we don't ask then we would never know. Check out Maumee Bay in the summer.
