The animals will be fine I know for a fact people at the Toledo zoo care a lot for the animals and will help it and like the other person said probably a fight I hope you enjoyed your visit!
There may have been a fight, probably a dominance struggle. But I have know for a fact that the people who work their love those animals and are probably making sure nothing happens with the wounds.
Sir, I don't think that there's any cause for alarm. As a prior comment stated, it was most likely an injury from a small fight. Wolves are very resilient and small injuries occur quite often. The vets wiil look after them to make sure that it doesn't get out of hand.
I went on last sunday it was so hot that most of the animals were in there incloseures. But had a nice time
