Lakewood does Registration and Title only. Get there before 7 am. Toms River does License only. Not sure about the time, but best guess is to be there very early. If you go to the wrong one, they will not help you and you wasted the day. Go onto the MVC website to confirm which agency does what until further notice.

You can renew a registration at Lakewood DMV. Get there 5:30. The police come at 6:45 give you the instructions. At 7:00 they give you a number and tell you the time to go back. You can than leave and return.
