It's not a great distance from the parking lot to the falls, but you do have to climb lots of stairs to get there. It could be strenuous if you have to carry a child up the steps. I would guess it is about 1/4 mile one way to the falls
It is .4 miles from the parking area. You must climb approximately 161 stair steps and the walk down a path stepping over and around boulders. The first 61 steps are high (8-12 inches) but the next 100 are fairly low (around 6 inches). It is not suitable for a stroller - even an umbrella stroller. However it's not a strenuous walk for kids. But it is a bit challenging to carry a child that far. It is definitely worth the walk though. It is an amazing waterfall.
Not hard. We just did it with 9 kids from 3 yrs old to 15. Everyone did great with it!
Question answered above it's a great place but steep
We took a 5 year old a 3 year old and a 1 year old and it was not too much trouble. We had three adults though.
