According to All Trails, yes dogs are allowed on the trail. Do not listen to the person recommending leaving the dog in the car with the windows cracked. It doesn’t take long in the summer for that to kill your dog. As far as the rest of the people saying no they attract bears, that is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. We take our dog on every trail we hike.
I wouldnt take pets ....unless there are no cars in parking lot ..they could attract bears

I would not take my pets. The first part is a great set of steps but the las5 half is a rugged trail through the woods.
No. Not on trails except for the two that go to the visitor centers. Pets can attract bears and could also be a potential problem for people. Some of these trails are strenuous and other hikers don't need the distraction of pets.
