My husband and I have been out twice shore fishing at Pontiac Lake. The first time we stuck to the pier on the left and caught a lot of small gills and one good size largemouth. The second time we went out the pier to the left was too crowded, so we fished from shore and the pier on the right. That time we caught nothing but a really tiny perch. We'll go again, regardless, but we'll stick to the left pier.

Haven't tried yet. New to the area. Lots of state parks in the area to try. One at 7 lakes is supposed to have trout and walleye at a dropoff near a wooden deck.
